CenTIG is completely redefining the Migatronic TIG welding experience with the introduction of a new digital display and software functions.

Trigger mode

Defines the interaction between the welder and the torch. Choose between 2T or 4T modes to control how the arc starts, maintains, and stops. Ideal for customizing the workflow to match operator preferences and welding conditions.

Ignition mode

Determines how the welding arc is initiated. Options include LiftTIG for contact ignition, HF (High Frequency) for non-contact starts, and HF Energy for reduced electromagnetic interference in sensitive environments. Essential for reliable arc starts in different production settings.

Welding Flow

Manages the entire welding flow process, including pre-gas, arc initiation, current ramp-up, slope transitions, and post-gas phases. Provides welders with precise control over each stage to ensure optimal arc stability, reduced contamination, and clean terminations.

TIG-A-TACK

TIG-A-TACK function makes it easy to perform small, precise fixations without filler metal. Ideal for fitting, it delivers consistent, handsfree tack welds that hold components in place with minimal distortion. Perfect for prepping high-quality joints before final welding

TIG-REP-TACK

For ultra-thin materials, CenTIG offers the TIG-REP-TACK function – a cold pulse technique that creates a series of small, controlled fixations with extremely low heat input. Designed for materials as thin as 0.5–1.5 mm, it delivers a continuous-looking weld seam without burning through, making it ideal for precision fabrication

Pulse

Allows precise control over heat input by alternating between high and low current levels. Essential for welding thin materials, pulse welding helps minimize distortion, improve weld appearance, and enhance control of the weld pool.

AC

Fine-tune every aspect of your arc for precision welding on aluminum. CenTIG’s AC mode lets you optimize cleaning action, penetration, and arc stability with adjustable waveforms, frequency, and balance—ensuring flawless oxide removal, minimal tungsten wear, and consistent weld quality. Thanks to the refined AC waveform, the arc also produces a pleasant sound profile that contributes to a more comfortable and less fatiguing work environment.

JOB

Provides the ability to save, lock, favorite, and export/import welding settings. Streamlines workflows by allowing welders to recall optimized parameters instantly. Ideal for multi-user environments or repeat production jobs.

The impressive crystal-clear LED display lights up the settings and keeps the essentials at the fingertips. It is designed for easy navigation and clear adjustment of settings using the click wheel.
